A Clubbers Guide to Ibiza

Ibiza is the undisputed party capital of the world and the Mecca for partygoers. Parties here are a visual treat with dancers, fireworks and light shows. With amazing systems and the world’s best DJs, it leaves you spellbound.

Pacha is the oldest club in Ibiza having a capacity of 3,000 people with 3 different rooms. The dance floor is packed, atmosphere throbs with energy. Famous DJs seen are Roger Sanchez, Frankie Knuckles, and David Morales etc. Pacha hosts a ‘Flower Power’ party, with disco and 80s’ music to go with it.

Space is an after-hours club located in Playa D’en Bossa. They have 22-hour party from early Sunday morning to early Monday. The club hosts DJs like Carl Cox and Dave Piccioni. Many of the massive parties organized by other clubs, such as Manumission end up here for the after party.

‘Manumission’ is the famous party held by Privilege, the largest club in Europe, located near San Rafael. It has an indoor swimming pool and accommodates 15,000 people. Manumission is a true spectacle that every clubber must experience. There are fireworks, dancers, live sex shows; you name it.

Amnesia is another night club near San Rafael. Previously it was open-air, now it is in a  glass dome. Its foam parties are infamous with DJs like Sven Vath and Paul van Dyk. View from the VIP balcony is spectacular; large canons fill the immense dance floor beneath the balcony with foam.

El Divino is the high-end nightclub with terrace restaurant. The atmosphere is great with a beautiful view of the Port and the Dalt Vila cathedral as you dine. Then there are numerous other nightclubs like Eden, Es Paradis which hosts a water party, both are situated in San Antonio and in my opinion are 2 of the best clubs in Ibiza.

Prices in Ibiza can be expensive but i would definately recommend it. When i went Eden and Es Paradis cost around 4-5 euros for a drink and about the same for entry. The bigger clubs were dearer both drinks and entry with prices upto about 45 euros for things like Cream.
